helpin' out a scene: LOGAN SQUARE SKATEPARK

aight so all you kids who always complain about the scene here is your chance to help out! Give this a read and start asking around.

So I just called Thompson Dyke & Associates about the Logan Square Skate Park and here is the deal. The Chicago Park District has only had 1 contracter to bid on the job they want to get more estimates but no one else id bidding on the job. So I said why don't you have a skatepark building company bid on it? And I was told that its just a little more than pouring asphalt and Putting in ramps.
They need to get the old asphalt out and dig drainage ditches. IF ANY OF YOU KNOW SOMEONE that could seriosly bid on this job to the Chicago Park District please do so . You can contact Paul File he is in Charge of this project at Thompson, Dyke & Associates. Press 0 the get the receptionist and ask for Paul File. This is a skatepark that has been passed by idot and city officials WE NEED A CONTRACTOR. This park will be under a highway overpass so it will be a very unique park, for Chicago. This is the 1st phase if the 1st phase proves to be popular then the 2nd phase will be a concrete skatepark so they say.

A month left, and L dance raves

Have a month left to this semesters and stress is on! Woke up super late for class and beat feet to the train, get to the train just in time to be greeted by every single working person in Chicago packed like cattle off to slaughter (with similar expressions as the cattle). I squeeze in and am off. Two stops go by and somehow more people get on. One in particular husky women slides in right in front of me almost face to face with her. I'm siked that I can now touch everyone in the car. The doors close and off again. I notice the husky women rocking some giant headphones and she seems to be diggin' her tunes, so much so that somehow she begins to shimmy and rock out in full rave mode. Now keep in mind I don't have much room to even breathe and this women seems to have found a dance floor! So for the next 5 stops I'm face to face with the dancing queen herself. I try to avoid any eye contact as I'm already almost biting through my lip, my eyes beggin' to tear alil and just before my head explodes the train grinds to a hault and she gets off. Now despite being overly late for class I realize that some things happen for a reason. Thanks to whatever power made me late for class today, and alowing me to experience one women dance raves on the L at 7am.

Spring?

So apparently it's spring. I really don't know what to think about that, word on the street is snow tomorrow (lame). Oh well least I got to skate for a bit and shoot something. Oh and Joey didn't land his FS flip.
